Discreet Teeth Straightening Options

Invisalign has helped thousands of patients achieve straighter smiles using their advanced clear aligner system. Once impressions of your teeth are taken, your orthodontic treatment plan can be created, and you can begin wearing your custom clear aligners within a few weeks. Aligners are switched out with the next one in the series every two weeks until the treatment is complete and your smile is perfectly straight. Benefits of Invisalign

Many patients choose Invisalign over other orthodontic treatment options due to how discreet their clear aligners are. They are also completely removable, which means that patients don’t have to give up their favorite foods just to achieve a straighter smile. Invisalign aligners are made of a patented plastic material that is durable yet comfortable to wear for several hours at a time. Invisalign can also treat a wide range of orthodontic issues, so it’s not just reserved for patients who only need minor adjustments!

Can I just wear Invisalign aligners at night?

There are aligners on the market that only need to be worn at night, but Invisalign aligners should be worn between 20 and 22 hours per day, or any time you are not eating or brushing your teeth. This is because shifting the teeth quickly and effectively requires aligners to be worn as much as possible. If clear aligners aren’t worn as often as instructed, the teeth will begin moving back to their original positions, which sets the patient’s progress back. However, patients who commit to wearing their aligners only need to wear them for 12 to 18 months on average.

How much does Invisalign cost?

Even as Invisalign treatment plans have become more advanced and efficient over the years, the cost of Invisalign has actually been decreasing and becoming more affordable for more patients. Your insurance plan may offer partial coverage for orthodontic treatment, so we recommend checking with your provider to see what coverage they offer for Invisalign. We also accept payment plans through CareCredit®, which can divide the upfront cost of Invisalign into manageable payments. To learn more, please contact us or visit our financial page.
